Welcome to my website and to my podcast.

Hello, my name is Piper Pinnetti.

    I am a student at Wichita State University studying communications in journalism. I am a reporter for the school's newspaper and a literally "paper girl." I drive around delivering the paper every Thursday morning. Over the years I have written an abundance of articles for the paper, and have additionally considered creating content outside of it. Now I have a space where all of my content can be reached with fewer clicks.

Today's update and first post is an announcement about my podcast going live online.

"From My Journal" is  my personal podcast where I yap about whatever topic is on my mind. I have been wanting to have a podcast for a longtime now and was too nervous about people listening to my voice for a period of time and honestly felt like I didn't have anything podcast worthy to say. In the new year I decided it was time to do it, but ended up procrastinating during the school year. I slowly planned episodes and scrapped them as they no longer became relevant after procrastinating for so long. I wanted my website to be perfect before my podcasts came out, but was always too tired after school and working to work on either.

In March and April, I finally got my shit together and began to record and putting things together. My website was aesthetically pleasing to me, and then I started to record my podcast. I rerecorded my first episode because I was not 100% happy with it. I rearranged the order on the episodes a few times and then had to wait for the intro to be completed.

Now, my podcast is available to listen to in the car, or on a "hot girl walk." Maybe you're like me and you like to enjoy a podcast while drinking your silly coffee and doing your makeup in the morning.
